Internet of Things Lab

Objective

  • To provide training and placements to the students in the area of Internet of Things.
  • Motivate and guide the students to participate in various National and International competitions.
  • To take up consultancy work from industries and provide solutions for industry defined problems.

About the Lab

IoT Lab provides an infrastructure with several commercial IoT sensors, Controllers, Gateways and other IoT devices. The main objective of the lab is to develop applications based on senor, communication and other technologies for monitoring, management, Control of information system and build Intelligent systems. The lab provides students with hands –on experience in embedded hardware platforms for data acquisition and IoT cloud platforms to perform data analytics using Machine learning and deep learning algorithms. Industry 4.0 heavily relies on the knowledge gained through the laboratory experiments.
